GLEN CHARLOW is a native of Baltimore, Maryland, where he became interested in acting and musical theatre when cast in a local production of HMS Pinafore. He continued to perform in shows throughout Jr. & Sr. High School. He studied acting at Towson State University and in 1983 moved to New York, where he started his own Children's Theatre Company and toured to Trinidad performing in Humpty Dumpty Falls In Love. He has also toured with other shows such as Gypsy, Peter Pan, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles playing the famed Leonardo. For 7 years Glen was a member of the Brooklyn Heights Players and performed such memorable, favorite roles as Cosmo Brown (made famous by Donald O'Connor) in Singin' in the Rain, Blore in Ten Little Indians, and Eddie Ryan in Funny Girl. He made his Off-Broadway debut in Grandma Sylvia's Funeral when he went on as an understudy for the role of SkyBoy.
Glen became a major Lucille Ball collector when he moved to New York and has since become recognized by many as having one of the largest "Lucy" collections around. Some of you may remember him from A & E's Biography when they did their tribute to Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz. Most of the memorabilia footage in that biography was shot from Glen's collection. Glen is fulfilling a dream by creating this musical tribute to Lucy & Desi and he looks forward to being able to share with you his love, respect, and knowledge for them with this show.
